Insul-Tarp Form Covers by Insulation Products, are a concrete curing blanket designed for both hot and cold weather. Concrete can achieve the desired physical properties by maintaining proper water and heat levels. The concrete is also protected from wind, rain, sleet and snow.
Insul-Tarp® Form Covers can be used for a variety of applications including: wall forms, footings, curbs, gutters, pier boxes and slabs. Insul-Tarp® Form Cover contains a layer of white polyethylene, reflective aluminum foil, HD closed cell foam, HD polyethylene bubble, another layer of reflective aluminum foil and a layer of black polyethylene. The black polyethylene layer faces up during cold weather curing, absorbing heat from the sun. Likewise the reflective aluminum within the tarp helps reduce heat lost from the concrete.
