Winter Storm Orson–Rock Salt & Ice Control
The Weather Channel is forecasting “light to moderate snow and freezing rain from Orson are currently impacting parts of New York state and much of New England. The snow could be heavy at times in some areas through the evening, leading to poor travel conditions.” They continue in saying:
- Winter Storms Orson will bring heavy snow to parts of upstate New York and New England through Monday.
- Blizzard conditions are once again possible in some areas.
- More than a foot of snow is expected in portions of New England.
- Orson will also bring high winds to parts of the Northeast, mid-Atlantic and Appalachians that are not affected by snowfall.
Winter Storm Orson will intensify quickly into Monday, resulting in heavy snow, along with possible blizzard conditions, for parts of New England to begin the week. Significant snow and some ice from Orson are also extending westward into upstate New York.
